You Want to DIE?!

This a "no smoking" advertisement that I designed.
Okay, so there are some elements that I've added into this ad.

1) There is a voodoo doll dressed as a businessman
- What I'm trying to say here is, "It not only ends your life, but also your career!"

2) There is a fire background behind the voodoo doll
- This shows the burning of human life due to cigarettes

3) The giant cigarette with number "7" on it
- This is based on a scientific study that every time you burn a cigarette, you lose 7 minutes of
your life!

4) The words in red
- This is to give an alarm to all smokers that they'll endanger their family more than
themselves!

I hope that you can give a little bit of comment on it.
Thank you for reading!

My Edited (27/01/2008) Camera Ad

Here it is!
This is my new camera ad. just made it the day after I made the first version.

What this new advertisement differs from before is
1) that now, there is a comparison between cameras.
(What others give you and what we give you)
2) There are captions under both pictures
3) More informations are given such as the name (Cameko 360)
4) It has a different story behind the advertisement.

The ad from before:
1) Doesn't have anything to compare with.
2) Lens in the lion's eye doesn't fit with the camera lens (product)
3) Not much information (name)
4) No captions under the pictures
5) It has a different story behind the advertisement.

The rest of it are the same, including the note that says "This is not an official advertisement", the picture is still the same and etc.

I hope that you can leave some comments on my advertisements.
There's always room for improvement.

Thank you for your time and thanks for reading.

My Camera Ad

Ok, basically today, I'm just gon'na talk about the camera ad that I made myself.
I made it yesterday and it took me about... let's say... an hour?
Maybe I was slow, but hey, it's my first time using photoshop.

Today, when I looked back at the ad, i started thinking, "Okay, this is not such a good ad, I mean I put a lion, with a camera lens eye that doesn't even match the product."

So, I plan to re-make this ad to be more... let's say logic.
I did also forgotten to add a few things in and it is sort of a major mistake, so I'll be posting up the modified ad, same camera someday.

Notice: This is not an official advertisement for the product, it's only for photoshop practice purposes and as a "show and comment".

Feel free to post in your comments, critics, praises if you have any.
Thanks for reading.

A lil' bit of Intro

I'm a 17-year-old (2008) designer for my dad's company and I've created many advertisements for him.

Since we're based in Malaysia that is occupied by Malays, our ads are mostly in of course Malay Language, but I'll try translating everything to English.

Honestly, originally, all of my ads are in English, but since my dad's market are Malays, so I translated all of them to Bahasa Melayu (Malay Language).

So I'll post up some of my designs and feel free to leave a comment, good or bad, it doesn't matter because we're all learning together. So just let your mind flow, read, see and comment!
